CTDailyReport -- Daily Connecticut Rare Bird Report

About CTDailyReport
English (USA)

This CTDailyReport list is used to distribute summaries of rare and uncommon bird sightings reported in Connecticut. Reports are generally sent daily, though a more timely report is sometimes sent for particularly good birds.

This CTDailyReport list is sponsored by the Connecticut Ornithological Association (COA). It is primarily meant to meet the informational needs of the active CT birder. Any other use requires written authorization from the board of directors of the COA.

Visit the COA web site at http://www.ctbirding.org

Reports should be sent to CTBirdReport@ftml.net. Reports should include sender's name, date, location of sightings and species of note at each location. Please follow the standard format used in the report:

From [list of observers]:
[date] - [town] [, location information as needed] -- [species name without abbreviations and other sighting details as appropriate], [next species, etc]

From Roy Harvey:
2/11 - Litchfield, Bantam Lake, Point Folly – 3 Redhead, 1 Ruddy Duck

Full Reporting Guidelines are available at: http://www.ctbirding.org/ecommittee.htm#reporting
