Stopped at Nepaug res rt 202-New Hartford.-12 noon.
Just above reservoir were: 5 Adult Bald Eagles ketteling up and away. Great to see a kettle of 5
Eagles. On grass Island was: 1 SPOTTED SANDPIPER, 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, on first pond was: 1
common snipe, on second pond was: 1 GREEN WING TEAL, 1 WOOD DUCK. And within the Nepaug State
forest dirt roads (about 3 miles worth) was: Sporadic JUNCOS and 1 WINTER WREN. Guess my lucky
number today might be ONE?
