[CT Birds] Lighthouse on Friday

Despite the southerly winds and extreme fog all day, 75 raptors were counted including two very low-flying adult Bald Eagles.  
4 Osprey; 2 Northern Harriers, 1 Red-tailed Hawk, 30 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 5 Cooper's Hawks, 2 Bald Eagles, 22 American Kestrels, 6 Merlins, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 1 Unidentified Accip., 1 Unidentified Raptor.
In the park:  WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, White-throated Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, Eastern Phoebe, Palm Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Ruby Kinglet, Black-crowned Night Heron, Great Blue Heron.  (These were mostly found by Chris Reynolds, visitor from NY.)
