[CT Birds] Thompson hummer moved on

The hummingbird was seen yesterday morning feeding heavily up until 11:30 AM.  Missed the bird by a day, was going to get there today! No one got out to see the bird, that I know of, before it moved on. I believe the hosts may have some pictures, which I will try to get copies of.

The bird had been there for quite some time, I think the extra warm days we had allowed this bird to gain enough fat to hit the road.

My first thought was quick change the sugar water, and then it occured to me at 30 mph, if the bird flew for 5 hours, 150 miles later it is well out of CT, hopefully somewhere warmer with a feeder nearby!
