[CT Birds] backyard birds

11/25 Old Saybrook backyard (Plum Bank Marsh) 2 PURPLE FINCHES, 4 PINE SISKINS, 1 BROWN CREEPER, 1 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, 2 NORTHERN GANNETT (off town beaches)

In addition over the last 2 days, I have had from my backyard :
 3 Northern Harriers including 1 adult "Grey Ghost" male
1 Sharp-Shinned Hawk
3 Great Blue Heron
20 Black Ducks
1 raft of 100-200 ducks off the town beach- probable Greater Scaup
large assortment of Gulls
large assortment of usual "feeder" birds

 What is very interesting is with all the usual finches and sparrows I have not had a single House Finch or House Sparrow. (Now I just jinxed myself!)
