The Western Flycatcher was seen again today at Osbornedale State Park
in Derby. It was first located again around 10:30, and was seen off
and on until at least 1:00 or so.

The bird's behavior was a bit different today. While it was seen
along the same edge as yesterday, all observations were in the half
closest to the road; yesterday it ranged much farther to the right.
Yesterday it was almost exclusively down very low, while today it
spent a great deal of time up in the trees, including high in the
tops of trees well into the woods. And yesterday it did not travel
far from cover at any time, while during the final hour of
observation today (roughly 12:00-1:00) it was venturing out into the
grass area an perching on the various taller bits that are standing
up.

When I left around 1:00 it was out in the open along either side of
the trail.
