I went to Batterson Park Pond (at Camp Courant) around midday to see if I
could find the Ruddy Ducks that had been reported some time ago. There were
40 of them as well as 30 American Coot, 15-20 American Merganser, and 2
Hooded Merganser.

The highlight of the day was 2 Bald Eagles which first appeared circling in
the distance. One (an adult) flew right over me and then perched in a
waterfront tree for 15-20 min. affording scope and camera study.
