I was walking at the WH reservoir #6 yesterday and amidst the flocks of Canada geese saw a very small, diving bird. I only had my cheapo hiking binocs so couldn't get a good look, but by the shape and vague color it appeared to be a grebe in winter plumage. Do grebes appear in this area in winter? Zellene
