12/10-Portland-Yesterday  I walked the Portland Riverfront Trail. It is near my house and I've walked this area frequently for years.There is a privately owned adjacent field where I've seen Brown thrashers from spring until as late as November for the past several years.This summer, the field was cleared of much of the trees and overgrown thickets that the thrashers seem to favor. I went there for the first time since this summer and was surprised to see a BROWN THRASHER. It was the latest in the year that I've ever seen one there. I saw it in the field and also near the main trail on the way out (if it was the same one). I also a Gray Catbird along the main trail.
