[CT Birds] UConn/Storrs - longspur, buntings, pipits, etc.

Frank Gallo and I took a quick walk over Horsebarn Hill in Storrs today and turned up ~45 horned larks, 6-8 American pipits, 60+ snow buntings, and 1 lapland longspur.  There were also good numbers of American tree sparrows around, with at least 10 on Horsebarn Hill and 30-40 around the pond by the Lot W fields.

At our house in Eagleville a fox sparrow continues and there was a red-shouldered hawk buzzing the bird feeder.
