To add to this post, this territory includes Menunketesuck Island and flats in Westbrook, which is an IBA and can be a very exciting place to check out any time of the year.  It is among the best places in the state to find lingering shorebirds feeding on the exposed flats at low tide or roosting on the island at high tide.  It also included Salt Meadow Unit, which is another IBA and can hold some surprises in the winter.
