Northern Gannets are still in Niantic Bay today with an adult and an
immature actually flying over land on the eastern side of Millstone Point.
As Julian mentioned an Ivory Gull is reported to have been in RI recently.
Ivory Gulls are attracted to food sources (aren't we all) like rotting
carcasses or fish offal. So where there are fishing boats there is a chance
of attracting an Ivory Gull (albeit a really small chance.) Stonington
harbor is one area that might be worth keeping an eye on.
