The recording of Rufous Hummingbird is a great find for yesterday's  
Hartford Christmas Bird Count.  It is the third time that Rufous  
Hummingbird has been seen on a Connecticut CBC, the two previous  
occurrences being on the January 5, 2003 Old Lyme-Saybrook CBC  
(2002-2003 CBC) and the December 30, 2006 New London CBC (2006-2007).

The Parasitic Jaeger and the Northern Rough-winged Swallows found on  
yesterday's New Haven CBC are new to Connecticut's Statewide  
Christmas Bird Count.
