[CT Birds] about Redpolls

I have a curious question - about Redpolls.

Seems Redpolls are being seen in good sized flocks here in CT so far
this year. But most all reports of them described on this list at
birdfeeders are of singles or just a few more.
In years past, they seemed always to be at our feeders in larger
numbers, staying for only a day or two, then leaving as Redpolls often
do.

I am curious as to how many people on this list are getting Redpolls at
their feeders, and how many birds for how long?

I have been seeing a single male Redpoll in with my daily Siskins for
about 4 weeks now. I would assume he has lost his flock, and has settled
in with the Siskins and their food source.

Might this situation change when more Redpolls possibly enter CT as the
winter progresses? Any thoughts on this ? And if and when they do show
up in numbers - remember to check for Hoaries!
