12/15 - Ashford yard (288 Varga Rd) -- 1 RED-HEADED WOODPECKER, 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE, 3 RUSTY BLACKBIRD
	Willington, Cowles Rd. -- 1 COMMON REDPOLL coming to feeders


Seth Rifkin, Jorge Deleon, Susan Hochgraf and I birded the Storrs CBC "Willington"
territory Saturday which includes SW Ashford, SE Willington and NE
Mansfield. Results were excellent for this territory. Highlights included Red-headed Woodpecker which has been present in my yard since Oct7 (we had 7 woodpecker species!), a Northern Shrike (yet another new yard bird), and a lone Common Redpoll near a feeder on Cowles Rd. in Willington. In another territory  in Ashford 3 Pine Grosbeaks were reported off Lipps Road.
