FYI to all that venture up this way......

The Barkhamsted CBC is Saturday with count week starting tomorrow. Although I will be watching for sightings listed from the areas (e.g. Pine Grosbeaks), please include any other unusual birds for Northern CT. Waterfowl is becoming huge right now as the reservoirs (Barkhamsted & Nepaug) and lakes are rapidly freezing. You never know what may be missed on count day. Also be as specific with details (numbers, location, time) so we do not duplicate birds, if you happen to be birding here on Saturday.
