Today at 3:20 in Torrington, Sawmill Hill Rd, saw 15 PINE GROSBEAK
eating from apple tree near rd. Not one Ad male. 30 Cedar Waxwing in
with them.
Further north by abandoned bld with green door on rt, 2 RED CROSSBILL
in tall Blk spruces. Both females.
North towards Winchester Ctr, by barn with cement silo on left, 7 more
PINE GROSBEAK with 1 male. All calling from tall spruce, then took off
to north.
By cemetery, large flock(30+) of C Waxwings flying away with one large
bird within! Didn't get a good look, but?
In Winchester ctr, saw 6 Red wing Blackbirds in tree - unusual for here.
