I've certainly had fun with a few "odd couples"
I live in the staff apartment at the CT Audubon Coastal Center at Milford Point. My living room windows have a view of the Wheeler Marsh that is screened by 2 large mulberry trees. My "yard list" needed a handicap, so I've been keeping a "couch list" for the past 2 years. It reached 139 species yesterday, when I had a Common Redpoll in the feeder on my window, and a light-morph Rough-legged hawk landed in the trees above shortly after. I know you could see the same pair at other locations, but probably not from your living room.

I started the list when I saw the pair of American Avocets in the creek below the building and a male Northern Parula in the tree next to me at the same time.

Pine Siskin and Yellow-breasted Chat together at the feeders last month were also a treat.
