John -
Sweet! About 20 years ago, a Gannet was killed when it ran into the side
of a house in the Westbrook area, evidently during a storm. I believe Irv
Esty got the call and picked up the body. Keep your head down.

> I thought my backyard bird list for 11/25 of this year had an unusual
collection- Purple Finches, Pine Siskins, Brown Creeper, Northern Gannett,
and Greater Scaup. My new house overlooks Plum Bank Marsh and also the
Saybrook Town Beaches.
