Steve Grant featured this year's finch invasion in an article in the Hartford Courant this morning:

I also got a recent report from a regular Great Backyard Bird Count (which is President's Day Weekend each year) observer of Evening Grosbeaks regularly at a feeder in the NW corner, Canaan I think.  The flock got as large as 15 and there are still a few coming.  Keep those feeders full!
