[CT Birds] Common Eider

Yesterday (12/21) in Waterford at Smith Cove 2 PIED-BILLED GREBES, over 50 Hooded Mergs, 3 Scaup sp. Mallards and C Geese 
At Waterford Town Beach,  which is between Harkness and Ocean Beach, 3 COMMON EIDER with two adult males. Access to the beach is at the entrance to  Eugene O'Neil Theater.    Birds were around the small rock islands, east end of the beach.
