[CT Birds] Stratford Milford CBC (Sunday) Results

We had an unofficial and remarkable, 117 species.  
Highlights included Eurasian Wigeon (Milford & 
Bridgeport), Red-necked Grebe (Milford), 3 Rough-
legged Hawks (Milford & Stratford), 2 Semipalmated 
Plovers (Lordship), 2 Long-eared Owls (Milford),  
2 Short-eared Owls (Lordship), Eastern Phoebe, 
Yellow-breasted Chat (Lordship), the aforementioned 
Baltimore Oriole (Stratford) and 29 Boat-tailed 
Grackles (Lordship).  My apologies for the lack of 
specific locations.

Misses included Wood Duck, RN Pheasant, No.
Gannet, Bald Eagle, Barn Owl, Barred Owl, White-
crowned Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark and all the 
winter finches. Crazy misses included Eastern 
Bluebird and Cedar Waxwing.  Please let me know 
if you encounter/Have encountered these, during 
Count Period.
