The house finch population at my sunflower chips feeder has  increased 
dramatically in the last few days from 6 to about 16.  Along with  more numbers came 
3 cases of the house finch eye disease. (I have bleached  the feeders now).
 But also I had one male house finch  with an orange forehead and orange 
throat rather than the red.
The RB Nuthatch continues daily since mid  September.
