[CT Birds] (no subject)

Would like information on a bird seen in East Lyme this morning, Friday,  
December 28.  Bird was seen in an apple orchard perched on a tree, white  breast, 
golden brown feathers, approx. 18-20+ inches tall, fat like an owl but  head 
was not that of an owl.  Possible falcon family?  Any  ideas?
