Spent a few sunny but cold hours at Hammonasset today. The large flock of Horned Larks that tracked around the West parking lot grassy areas contained at least two Lapland Longspurs. No one was reporting any Crossbills, but the pines by the West parking lot did have Red-Breasted Nuthatch and Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. The mixed flock near the main pavilion rotary included Yellow-Rumped Warblers, Red-Breasted Nuthatch, and at least one Common Redpoll. The Sound was very quiet. There was a report of a Snow Bunting with the Horned Lark flock by the Meigs Point parking lot, but I did not see it.
