[CT Birds] Hoary -

Hi Don -

Well I'm not an expert either, and i have been checking out my 20 to 50 
birds for days now. Also my brother up in West Hartland has 60+ comin 
daily, and he is also taking pix of one different bird. No conclusive 
luck yet though.
Of the 2 light birds I have been seeing and studying, both seem to have 
the common's bill. For me, I would like to get the typical short bill of 
a Hoary. But both birds seem to follow Sibley's other field marks on his 
web.
In your one pix that shows the bill, To me it also looks as a common's 
does in length, yes?

Keep checking them out - everyone -  and keep posting your pix to this 
site for the "Experts " to review. Their must be one out there in CT 
somewhere!
