[CT Birds] BC Night Heron, RW Swallows

1/08/08 -- 4 N Rough-wg Swallows happily flying at treatment plant in New Haven's East Shore Park while the Register thermometer across the harbor read 64 degrees around 2 PM.  Also, on 1/07/08 in Stratford, from near the blind off the Railroad trail, 3 Black-crowned Night Herons (2 adult, 1 immature).  Also 2 Gr Yellowlegs and 8 Killdeer.
