Today at Bakerville swamp, I spooked a Great Blue Heron that was just 10 feet away feeding under the bridge over the stream. As the stream border was to dense for it to fly up, it instead plunged into the middle of the deep stream and SWAM AWAY like a duck! Has anyone else seen a GB Heron swim as I just did? Paul Carrier
