[CT Birds] Hawk encounter

The neighborhood Red-tailed Hawk was perched in a tree on the West bank of 
North Farms Reservoir in Wallingford this morning when an adult male harrier 
flew in low from the North. The Tail dove at the Harrier who took evasive 
maneuvers and quickly exited the area as the Tail returned to its tree. This 
particular encounter was a first for me in all my years of hawk watching.
