[CT Birds] Ducks at Hammonasset - Green-winged Teal

1/18/08 - For those who, like the lady from the Hartford Bird Club, noticed  
the small, light-colored ducks in the tidal pool adjacent to the Nature Center 
 parking lot, a close inspection revealed that they were Green-winged Teal.
 
During the summer, a small group of these were frequently seen in the same  
location.
