That isn't a problem I've heard before.

If the normal "bookmark this page" feature of your browser does not
work, I suggest editing a bookmark and changing the name and URL. 
The URL for the complete archive is:

http://lists.ctbirding.org/pipermail/ctbirds_lists.ctbirding.org/

In general you edit a bookmark with a right-click, choosing
Properties.  With some browsers Rename is an alternative to
Properties, with others it is part of Properties.
