This morning as I was stopped at a light on 12th Avenue (near 30th
Street) in New York City, I glanced at the sparse bushes planted in the
medium strip, and there was an adult male Yellowthroat moving about.
Maybe this suggests a type of "habitat" to be investigated to get that
January record? Also, I was just in Florida; the Loxahatchee checklist
designates Yellowthroats as "abundant" in the winter, and I didn't see
one. Perhaps they are all too far north?
