[CT Birds] blue jay as mimic??

Hi all

 

I was just outside and heard this loud hawk like call.  I looked around
expecting to see one of the local hawks, but realized it was a Blue Jay - I
watched it vocalize the same sounds again.  I didn't know Blue Jays mimicked
other birds.  Does anyone know of this behavior in BJs?  I'll be checking on
the Cornell site to see if I can pinpoint the actual sound the jay was
making.
