Viewed from windows on marsh side-
Canada Geese, Mallards, 6 American Black Ducks, 7 Buffleheads,
3 Red Breasted mergansers (3-M, 3 F), 1 male American Widgeon,
2 female Northern Harriers, 6 Gadwalls, 4 American tree sparrows,
2 Song sparrows, white throated sparrows, 5 Cardinals ( 3-M, 2 F),
mourning doves, 1 goldfinch.
Also in regards to the increased number of house finches in my yard, I have
noticed a corresponding decrease in House Sparrows. I used to have between
30-40 house sparrows in the forsythia hedges and my awning all year for many
years. This year I have counted a maximum of about 15 at one time .
**************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape.
