1/24/08 East Street North in Goshen: The adult Northern Shrike continues in  
the second field on the left as you enter East Street North from Route 4. It 
was  sitting in the taller trees at the edge of, and in, the field.  There were 
 also several Common Ravens in the area.  A pair, visiting a white pine  
stand .2 mile down Stonebridge Rd (off Hageman Shean), on the left, was  very 
vocal...

The resonating sound of an Am  Bittern was heard yesterday afternoon in the 
marsh area 
on the  south side of the iron foot  bridge.
