[CT Birds] A little off topic/location

 Friday we were in Narragansett RI at the parking lot next to the Point Judth CG Station. Out in the bay was a raft of at least what appeared to be a thousand or more common eiders with more arriving as we watched. Could nor make out too well with my 7 X 50's since they were about a quarter to a half mile off shore. There were some dark birds mixed in but could not make out if they were immatures or something else. In addition there were a pair of red breasted mergansers and a common loon diving closer inshore.
