1/27 - Hammonasset -- WESTERN TANAGER northwest of
Mohegan area 3:15-3:30pm
Mystic yard - CHIPPING SPARROW

After two trips and about five hours, the tanager
popped out and gave great looks in the sun.  Also saw
several FOX SPARROWS and two PINE WARBLERS but did not
see the Orange-crowned Warbler.
