[CT Birds] Western Tanager :)

I saw the WESTERN TANAGER(along with several yellow rumped  warblers)  at 
Hammonassett from 11:25AM-11:35AM eating the bittersweet  berries in the cedars 
near the Tunxis camp area.
I am sure it was there before I arrived because numerous  people along the 
path had said it had been seen.  I wish I was a bird  photographer because it 
would have been a beautiful photo of the Western Tanager  with a bittersweet 
berry in its mouth; it's reddish/orange bill and it's  bright yellow contrasting 
with the bright orange/red of the  bittersweet.
I went over to Meig's Point where there were 24 HORNED LARKS  and 1
LAPLAND LONGSPUR in with the flock, in the grassy part of the  parking lot.
Also a Northern Harrier coasting over the marsh as I was  leaving Meig's 
Point.
