1/28/08 - South Windsor, Ferry Lane --VESPER SPARROW.  The bird was feeding with 3 savannah sparrows and several tree sparrows on the south side of the road, a couple of hundred yards from the base of the hill.  The sparrows feed on corn and seed on the sides and near the road close to a row of bushes, trees etc..., which runs between two fields on the north side of the road. 

Also, had a Kestrel on 1/27/08 in the North field perched on a tree in the row of bushes, trees etc...
