          A cabin fever Challenge

With the big January count over, and another 6 weeks of winter to come - thanks P. Phil - May I post a challenge to all who might be interested and want to play........

Today, I have been observing my feeders here in Harwinton most all the day. A very interesting day indeed. From it came the idea of this challenge.

Pick one day you observed your bird feeders this month, and count how many species you get that ONE DAY feeding from them or in your yard. Birds must be feeding, not just seen in your yard or fly overs. A crow feeding from your lawn can count, as would Cedar waxwings feeding from your red cedar tree, but must be IN your yard and FEEDING. That's it -

Lets see who can get the most bird species feeding from their yard for ONE DAY.
I have listed below my count today - so far - as an example.
If I better this count within Feb, I can then use THAT one day count.

Anyone interested in playing?
