I got a call from Carol Charter this evening who told me she had a SANDHILL CRANE at 2:30 this afternoon in a field at the corner of job's hill and muddy brook roads in Ellington. It was last seen flying northwest. There are fields off Green road in Ellington which is north west of where the crane was seen.
