[CT Birds] carolina wren

My Carolina Wren has been singing its heart out this  morning.  I took my 
walk around the neighborhood and  everywhere the  Carolina's song was echoing 
through the streets.  I hope he gets a mate  this season, because he got my 
attention.   It seem to be one of those  "spring days" in February when the morning 
air  and ground are damp, the  air is crisp and the sun came through the 
clouds in anticipation of a bright  spring day.  The dead mum plant on my deck 
even sprouted 3 green  shoots.
I have not heard my Great Horned owls recently but maybe they  are busy with 
a new brood already.
