[CT Birds] Birds while going to a meeting

I needed to go to a meeting in the far northeast (Putnam) this morning and 
had a cool list of birds for my trouble.  I had the female Oregon Junco back 
at my feeder, probably brought in by the light snow). Once on the road, in 
Ashford, I saw a small flock of Common Redpolls along the road and then 
noticed a flock of robins chasing a Long-eared Owl across the road in front 
of me.  The owl flew across the road and an open field and then deep into a 
wet woodland.  Once at the site of the meeting, an adult Bald Eagle flew 
over the Quinebaug River in downtown Putnam.  Ok, only four cool birds but 
this is the extent of most of my field time these days.  I love birding!
