[CT Birds] Redpolls & Misc. Questions

I had 22 Common Redpolls Monday, 2/4/08, a high for the yard, but then didn't see any until this morning when I saw 16 at the feeders.  They seem increasingly skittish.  I have some nice photos of one redpoll that can be viewed at

Red bellied WP question:  There are at least 4 that come to my feeders (I can ID 4 individuals by plumage differences) and each week when I enter this number into the PFW database I have to confirm the number.  Is this number unusual in CT?  

Ruffed grouse question:  Any thoughts on numbers, distribution in CT for this species?
