1/8 -- While doing a Lyme loop this afternoon, I spotted 2 COMMON RAVENS near
Selden Cove. There were also 13 common mergansers in the cove.

Other highlights of the day were:
3 eastern bluebirds on Ely's Ferry Road; 4
northern flickers posing together at the top of a dead tree and 1 brown
thrasher (heard), both species on Tantumorantum Rd, 1 red-shouldered hawk (heard)
on Binney Rd, and lots of hooded and common merganser at Lords Cove, Hamburg
Cove, Whalebone Creek, and the aforementioned Selden Cove. Also at Lords
Cove were 4 common goldeneye and 1 bufflehead.
