I was so sorry to hear of Marge Hackbarth's death. I remember Marjorie fondly. When I moved to CT from NJ in 1991 I met Marge at a local Audubon chapter meeting in Wallingford. She told me about the New Haven Bird Club ("a real bird club") and I went to my first New Haven Bird Club meeting with Marge. I participated in one Christmas Bird Count with Marge in Meriden, urban birding at it's finest? I had no clue how old Marge was but was always amazed at her energy and love for birding. She will be missed by many. Betty, thanks for filling some things about Marge's live I did not know about.
