While birding this morning and chatting with a Police officer of the park he
mentioned that because people have been parking on the grass while looking
for the OC Warbler and Western Tanager the ground is being torn up. They are
not happy about this at all. He said they don't want to put up "ugly" signs
but will if they have to. PLEASE park in parking lots and walk to the area.
The parking area just the other side of the rotary is not that far. He also
asked that I remind people there is a $75 fine for unleashed dogs which they
are strictly enforcing. I promised I would try to get the word out to as
many people as possible.
