[CT Birds] Important Request from Hammo Police

While birding this morning and chatting with a Police officer of the  park he 
mentioned that because people have been parking on the grass while  looking 
for the OC Warbler and Western Tanager the ground is being torn  up.  They are 
not happy about this at all.  He said they don't want to  put up "ugly" signs 
but will if they have to.  PLEASE park in parking  lots and walk to the area.  
The parking area just the other side of the  rotary is not that far.  He also 
asked that I remind people there is a $75  fine for unleashed dogs which they 
are strictly enforcing.  I promised I  would try to get the word out to as 
many people as possible.
