2/10, Stratford, River Valley Road from about 10AM to 4PM:
I've also had the blackbirds around the feeders today (minus the Rusty
Blackbirds). The one and only time I had a Rusty Blackbird in the yard was
during the one and only real snowstorm of this season back in December. I've
had Red-wings off and on all season (as usual) but found over 75 in a flock
today with around 50 Starlings, a few Common Grackles and Brown-headed
Cowbirds.

Other feeder birds included typical numbers each of: Monk Parakeet, Crow
sp., Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch, Blue Jay, Mourning Dove,
Dark-eyed Junco, White-throated Sparrow, House Sparrow, Titmouse, Chickadee,
White-breasted Nuthatch, House Finch, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker,
Red-bellied Woodpecker, and Northern Flicker.

Misses included American Tree Sparrows, which seem to be on their way out,
Carolina Wren, Red-breasted Nuthatch, the occasional Purple Finch, and the
Cooper's Hawk, who has been taking regular feedings (or attempted feedings)
here as well. Still, getting 21 species at the feeders is a good day, even
without any rarities.
