As a naturalist and interpreter who has given over 500 presentations to the public with the National Park Service, I have been very thoroughly exposed to the principles of interpretation using compelling stories. I have to say that last night's program was one of the most beautiful and compelling conservation stories I've EVER seen, and I've seen a lot of them.

This is the avian conservation story of our time and our region.

My wife and I bought one of the DVD's through pbs.org, and she is going to be using it to teach her 4th grade class in a variety of subjects and lessons.

I hope everyone got a chance to see the program.

  Ross

I hope all had a chance to watch the very interesting show on CPTV last night which followed the reason the decline in both species is intermingled.
