[CT Birds] Connecticut Audubon Society Eagle Festival

Hello everyone,
 
Just a reminder that while it is miserable to go outside today, this weekend's forecast is looking great, and will be a great opportunity to share your passion for birds with some of your non-birding friends and family.
 
The 9th Annual Connecticut Audubon Society Eagle Festival will be in Essex, CT this Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th.  The event is free, with the exception of the tickets for the Eagle Viewing Cruises on the CT River.  There are live birds of prey demonstrations, optics vendors, and family programs.  There will also be a great roundtable discussion hosted by Phil Donahue on Saturday afternoon, "Connecticut's Conservation Agenda, Where do we go from here?"
